First detection of light in a
gravitational wave event

Summary:
For the first time an explosion of light has been detected associated with a gravitational wave event, caused by the collision of two neutron stars.
This is about a historical discovery that for the first time reveals the existence of both gravitational waves and extremely energetic light from a cosmic source.

This article explains the first detecction of a combination of gravitational waves and light from the same astronomical event located 130 million light years from Earth.
The kilonovas are also fitting with what we know of gravitational waves, are the main hypothesis of short shoots of gamma ray that are another phenomenon currently inexplicable.

On the one hand, it would be a fusion of two neutron stars, called kilonova, a cataclysm enunciated theoretically 30 years ago, but that existence hasn't been fully confirmated until now.

On the other hand, dozens of observatories and telescopes equipped with different sensors have orientated there, trying to find the exact source. A new point of light very close to a galaxy of the Hydra constellation.

To conclude, this article is a success for the theoretical astrophysicists because they hope to have found the desired kilonova because the information that exists until now, is very close to agree with the theory.
