Solstice
either of the two times in the year, the summer solstice and the winter solstice, when the sun reaches its highest or lowest point in the sky at noon, marked by the longest and shortest days.
Shamans
Shamanism is a practice that involves a practitioner in order to perceive and interact with a spirit world and channel these transcendental energies into this world.

Analysis comment:
The shamans of Lapland fed them to their reindeer in the days after the winter solstice they began to run and jump, sometimes so high that they seemed to fly. Shamans collected the urine of drugged reindeer and consumed it, so that they too could go into a trance. But humans and reindeer are not the target of "magic" mushrooms. Researchers at Ohio State University (USA) believe that fungi probably developed these strange properties to make it difficult for insects intending to eat them.
Psilocybe «cyanofriscosa»From an evolutionary biology perspective, that is intriguing and points to a phenomenon in which genetic material jumps from one species to another, a process called horizontal gene transfer. When it happens in nature, it is usually in response to environmental factors.
