Meditation can change our brain in just three months
Summary:Several scientific studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of mediation in decreasing anxiety and depression. Even so, we still have some doubts on how it works or if it really does. Scientists from the Max Planck scientific institute of Leipzig, Germany, have presented a study on science advances where they have tried to answer these questions.
After trying three different mindfulness programs and testing our brain capacities, they found out that meditation can change the structures of some parts of our brain, improve our social skills and reduce stress and anxiety in only three months.

Analysis comment:
This article talks about how we can use meditation to improve some parts of our brain.
Mindfulness is a practice where an individual trains the mind, either to realize some benefit or to simply acknowledge its content.
Not many people exercise it on a daily basis, mostly because they think it is useless or just because they have never even thought about it.
I think that if it can help us lower common problems such as depression or get better at socializing with other human beings, it's not a waste of time, and if does all of that in just three months, it can only get better. Yet, meditation needs a bit of belief and not everyone is willing to take a little leap of faith.
To sum up, it is effective, healthy, relaxing, helpful in a short period of time and don't cost a thing so everyone can try some exercise sometime.
